Not to over-analyze it but that is some awesome hi-hat, then when the horns come in–just fantastic. And those harmonies with Mark and Howard are unmatched. I’ve listened to “Happy Together” for 45 years and ALWAYS crank it up and listen all the way through, every time for that last harmonic Ah-MMMMMMMMMMM!
Listen to some T.Rex songs from the early seventies and hear those harmonies and end with Mark and Howard harmonies just like on Happy Together and Elenore (T.Rex The Slider features their voices the best in my opinion)
